Guest House Terms/Conditions

Check in/out times

You are able to check in from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm

Breakfast is served between 7.45 am and 9.00 am.

Rooms are to be vacated between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm to allow for servicing and check out time is 10.00 am please on the day of departure.

Please note earlier arrivals/later arrivals are strictly by arrangement only.

Cancellation/Curtailment of bookings.

For cancellations more than 7 days before the day of arrival, your deposit will be returned (minus a £5 administration fee). For cancellation within 7 days of arrival, no deposit will be returned unless we can re-let the room

However to avoid this situation we will make every effort where possible to resell the room and reimburse your debit/credit card accordingly.**

Liability

The Guest House will not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage to articles brought into the guest house or left in our car park.*

Smoking Policy

The Glyn Afon is strictly a non-smoking establishment. Whilst we do not wish to discriminate against smokers, anyone found to have smoked within the building will be asked to leave immediately and a charge of at least £50 will be made to assist in the cleaning of the room

Car Park.

We have private car parking for 4/5 cars, at the rear of the property.

Access Statement

This access statement is a description of the situation at The Glyn Afon: -

Set on the high street there is public on road parking to the front (time limits are in operation from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm) and our own private parking at the rear.

Access from the rear car park to the building is via a small walk around the Building to the front door.

Front door entrance is level with 1 small step to main hallway. Ground floor is level throughout, with breakfast room.

All guest bedrooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors, access is by stairs only, and there is no lift.

We have additional separate toilets on the 1st floor.

Guest bedrooms are centrally heated with adjustable thermostatic radiators.

The guesthouse is strictly non-smoking.

During the night, emergency help can be summoned by ringing the bell in the main Hallway downstairs
